You have reached the website of a Lodge whose members belong to the oldest and largest Fraternity in the world. You are here no doubt to find out more about “Who are the Masons?” You have come to the right place.
Good men are attracted to our Fraternity to become better men. They strive to improve themselves out of their own free will without the promise of reward. We all, as a Fraternity, believe in a Supreme Being, and religious tolerance, freedom, equality, and respect for each other. We teach and practice temperance, fortitude, prudence and justice. We have bonds and express our brotherly love for each other and practice charity, not only for members of our Fraternity and their families, but for all mankind.
Even though much of our ritual is based on scripture and history, we are a Fraternity and definitely not a religion. Most of our symbols and a lot of our teaching are based on the speculative uses of the operative art of ancient stone masons, who worked in quarries and built massive edifices such as cathedrals.
We pride ourselves on doing what is right, treating others as we ourselves would like to be treated, and striving for excellence in all we say and do. An added benefit is that we can literally travel in this country and in foreign countries, and in almost every place, we can be with a Brother in Freemasonry.
With this said, please feel free to roam our pages to find out
more about Freemasonry and our Lodge.
